The 1 Mile event starts at 7:00 pm. The 2 Mile and 3 Mile events will run after the 1 Mile and there will be breaks between all events
The Bottom Dollar Food Miles of Mooresville is an exciting new event series that consists of 3 evening races with 1,2 or 3 mile options. The event dates will be June 18, July16 and August 13.
Runners will pay one price and have the option of competing in any or all of the events that evening.
This is a FAMILY EVENT!!! Bring the kids for the shorter races and run with them!!!!
The course will be a one mile loop in downtown Mooresville. One lap for the one mile, two laps for the two mile and three laps for the three mile event. There will be a break between each event so the runners can rest and run all 3 events!
Race Day Logistics
Registration opens at 5:45pm behind Soiree's. Soiree is located in Historic Downtown Mooresville. There is same day registration available for $30 if you are bringing an unregistered friend! Registration closes right before the last race at approximately 8:00pm.
The Start line is two blocks south on South Main between Center and McLelland St's.
The Finish line is right around the corner on Center St where our post race hospitality center is located. We will have water, oranges, beer, some light refreshments, music and fun for kids as well at the Hospitality Center.
T-shirts will be available at the Hospitality Center after you turn your race chips in.
Parking will be available in several different locations. There is free parking at the municipal parking lot at Church and McLelland St's. Church St runs parallel to Main St. There will free parking in the rear of the Mack Center where registration is located. You can access that parking lot via Church St. only. There is also street parking on Church behind the Mack Center, and on Broad St and Academy St. The parking lot of the First Presbyterian Church located at McLelland and Academy St's will also be available to runners for no fee.
This race promises to be a fun evening for all. All runners will be entitled to one free beer with presentation of valid ID at either Registration or at the Hospitality Center. All non participants can purchase beer for $2 a cup. Money generated from the sale of the beer will be donated to the Humane Society of Iredell "no kill" shelter.
